HAND BUILDING WORKSHOP
Two dates available:
This is a special one-day workshop on hand building with porcelain and stoneware clay.
Over a relaxed afternoon, participants will be introduced to a range of fun and simple hand-building techniques to make their very own set of wares, and will be able to experiment with two types of clay - a buttery, white porcelain and an earthy stoneware. You will learn to make a range of forms, including: a cup, bowl, spoon, plate and planter pot. Once formed, you will decorate your pieces using coloured paints in a fun design (there will be plenty of examples for inspiration).
Workshop includes: all materials, aprons, firing, glazing, as well as delicious afternoon tea and refreshments.
A NIGHT IN THE STUDIO
Gather a group of your favourites & join local potter, Christy Pinkney, for an evening of making in her St Peters studio. Learn fun & simple techniques in this hands-on workshop. You will make a selection of different forms that may include cups, plates, planters, bowls & spoons. Includes all materials, tools, glazing & firing + a hearty gourmet platter & refreshments to share.
