Join me in my bright and airy studio in St Peters for a relaxed and joyful introduction to the pottery wheel. With 14 years’ honing my craft, my love of this medium is contagious. We’ll share some laughs and plenty of breakthroughs as I guide you through the fundamentals, with clear instruction, upbeat energy, and plenty of encouragement. Be ready to surprise yourself with how your own two hands can turn a ball of raw clay into a formed and finished vessel.
This is a two-session series, held one week apart, so you get to experience the transforming process from making to finishing.
What we’ll do
Session 1 ( Form ): we’ll learn to centre and throw your pieces on the wheel (cylinders such as mugs, vases and bowls).
Session 2 ( Finish ): you’ll come back to trim and refine your forms, add handles or sculptural details, and decorate with a pop of colour.
Class size
Up to 6 guests so it stays calm, supportive, and hands-on.

Includes
Two studio sessions, all materials, tools, aprons, glazing, and firing (plus plenty of laughs and learning!). You’ll make several pieces (usually 3–6), and they’ll be high-fired and ready for collection approximately 3 weeks after the course finishes.
